Title Registers and Title Plans are the two main ownership title documents of land and property.
These documents together provide official proof of ownership for land and property which may include detailed information.

TITLE REGISTER

An official copy of a Title Register.

This is the main title document of land and property.

It reveals the unique title number and the name and address of the owners.

This may also include details about access rights and parking rights, restrictive covenants, mortgages, maintenance responsibilities, lease agreements, transfers, conveyances, historical rights, purchase price and the tenure (e.g. freehold, leasehold or commonhold)

TITLE PLAN

The Title Plan is the second main title document of land and property.

This document shows the extent of land owned and may supply information on maintenance responsibilities for boundary structures such as fences and walls, restrictive covenants and registered easements such as drainage rights and access rights

All of this information is indicated on the Title Plan by coloured markings and T-markings.

The Title Plan is drawn to scale 1:1250.

MAP SEARCH
